FAQ
About Our Products
What is Japandi style?
Japandi is a design aesthetic that blends Japanese minimalism with Scandinavian simplicity. It emphasizes natural materials, muted tones, clean lines, and an appreciation for empty space. At the MA walls, we curate art that embodies this philosophy — calm, intentional, and rooted in the Japanese concept of Ma (間).
What materials are your prints made on?
We offer three formats. Our Enhanced Matte Posters are printed on heavyweight, museum-quality matte paper with a smooth finish and excellent color accuracy. Our Canvas Prints are gallery-wrapped on a sturdy wooden frame, ready to hang. Our Framed Posters come in a clean black, white, or natural wood frame with a protective front.
Which format should I choose — Poster, Canvas, or Framed?
It depends on the look you want. Posters are our most affordable option and give you flexibility to frame them however you like. Canvas prints have a gallery feel with texture and depth, perfect for living rooms or bedrooms. Framed posters are the easiest option — they arrive ready to hang with no extra work. If you're unsure, our Enhanced Matte Poster is the most popular choice among our customers.
What sizes are available?
We offer four standard sizes for all products: 12×16 in (30×40 cm), 16×20 in (40×50 cm), 18×24 in (45×60 cm), and 24×36 in (60×90 cm). Check our Size Guide for help choosing the right fit for your space.
Are the colors accurate to what I see on screen?
We do our best to ensure accurate color representation, but slight variations can occur due to differences in screen settings and calibration. Our prints use high-quality, archival-grade inks for rich, true-to-life colors.
How should I hang and care for my art?
Canvas and framed prints come ready to hang with built-in hardware. For posters, we recommend using a quality frame for the best presentation. To keep your art looking its best, avoid placing it in direct sunlight or humid environments. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth.
