Moss takes years to cover a stone. You can't hurry it.
I love moss. I keep a small moss terrarium at home, and the places where I feel time most are old temples in Kyoto and Kamakura, where moss has been growing over the stones for centuries. Places like that can only be made slowly. Do too much to them and the feeling is gone. Of everything in the shop, this piece is closest to my own taste, and it hangs in our bedroom.
